Fuel Consumption Combined (mpg)42.2 Fuel Consumption Extraurban (mpg)50.4 Fuel Consumption Urban (mpg)32.5 I wouldn't think you'd ever get 50+ from it unless your going down hill alot! 50+ mpg from the multijet is a possibility, but thats diesel for you. All seems normal to me.
The later 2.0-litre was even gutsier, with 165bhp and 360Nm of torque at its disposal giving it class-leading performance - 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 134 mph - while returning 53.2mpg fuel economy in the combined cycle. Overall. The second generation Fiat Bravo makes a very interesting used buy.
32 Points 13 Location Aarhus Jul 17, 2012 #1 Hello all, I have a 2 years old Fiat Bravo 1.4 16V T-jet 120 HP and I'm a very happy owner in general. I need some advise from you regarding the fuel consumption (FC). I can't get above 10,3 km/l (24.2 mpg) when driving slowly around the city.

There was an autoexpress test of the swift vs the t-jet in 2007 which you might want to google. Servicing is every 12months/18k miles and is cheap enough. Real world fuel economy is about 30mpg in town, 37mpg on the motorway (mid to outside lane speed) and just about 40mpg on single lane a roads.

This happened over summer where it would regularly be 20c at 6am in the morning. I have done a few things to try and determine what the problem is and to maintain service.. these are. 1. Plugs. 2. Oil/filter change. 3. Radiator flush. 4.
The cabin noise is noticeably higher in MultiJet than in the T-Jet. The car feels heavier (and it is about 85Kg heavier). This also translates in a slightly worse braking performance. The MultiJet has the torque and the fuel consumption on its side. But the T-Jet seems much more refined.
