It works and sounds 100%, but sometimes if you don't have the cord looped through the strap, it will cut out for a sec and make this insanely loud ripping, screaming noise. I actually recorded it and used it for a song once.

Jun 12, 2007. I played both extensively, and went for the HH/ rosewood board because it had a better straight-up rock sound than the HS. That said, the HS got a pretty good John Paul Jones kinda sound without much coaxing. Slap-wise, the HH in position 2 with the mids set flat will give you what you need.
